We arrived in Huatajata to find an excellent launch:
gently sloping sandy beach for packing the boat, restaurant with cold
beer, and soft, cushy grass to pitch our tent upon.
Early the next morning the sun is intensely bright,
but quickly melts the ice crystallized onto our tent overnight.
We manage to set out at mid-morning, after a delay
in building our boat. We realize despite several practice runs, we are
still mastering the 45-minute build-time suggested in the Feathercraft
instructions.
