Kayaking on Lake Titicaca

Once disassembled, the kayak fits into two bags: one for the frame, the other for the skin. Both bags weigh-in at 70 kilos including all our paddling and camping gear.

In Copacabana, kids make a living schlepping tourists' gear to and from the docks. When Frank told them there was a boat inside our bags, he got that "are you shittin' me" look we always get when the boat is packed away. No surprise, between the two of us, we probably had more technology in our bags than the majority of Bolivians will ever use in their entire lifetime.
