From our campsite on the beach below, we could walk up an Inca trail and over to the other side of the narrow peninsula we were paddling up. From the top, at left, spectacular views to Peru and the spit we would paddle along en route to Copacabana. From this lookout we were able to plan the final few days of our trip, which included a circumnavigation of Isla del Sol, birthplace of the Incas.
